Listed Stable

Set within the grounds of a Grade ll listed building, the existing stable was in a very dilapidated state and in need of careful restoration to provide habitable accommodation.

The conversion included a new bedroom, shower room and kitchenette, with reception room on a new mezzanine floor in the roof space.

Careful remedial work was required to protect and upgrade the original fabric and meet the required standards for a home. Where possible, the original fixtures and fittings were restored and adapted for reuse: the old stable stall divider became the bedroom partition and the mangers were transformed into side tables.
